Psychodynamic Therapy

The Psychodynamic approach looks at therapy from a systems-oriented perspective. In this kind of work, we explore how our environment, family dynamics, culture, and upbringing have affected the way we view the world (both good and bad).

The goal of this therapy is to feel more connected to your thoughts and feelings and where they stem from. This might be a good approach for you if:

  • You would like to understand your trauma better

  • You are experiencing depression

  • You feel stuck and unable to see the pattern

  • Are anxious and have not explored the patterns
