Depending on the client's goals, individual therapy can be utilized with different approaches.
The wonderful thing about individual work is that it can vary. Some clients want to explore how history impacts the present, and the work includes a psychodynamic approach delving into the past to understand what contributes to a person's identity.
For others, it can be super structured and specific to a behavioral goal using cognitive behavioral Therapy or provide coping skills using Dialectical behavior therapy.
